Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information QwikSite ("we", "us") collects when you use qwiksiteai.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to build your website preview and talk with you about it, and we never sell your information.

Information we collect

When you fill out our order form, we collect what you choose to give us:

• Contact details: your name, email address and, if you provide it, your phone number.
• Business details: business name, industry, location, current website, a description of your business, pages and style preferences, brand colors, and any notes.
• Files you upload: your logo and photos.
• Domain choice: any domain name you search for or select.

Like most websites, our hosting provider also processes basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

How we use your information

• To build your website preview and send it to you.
• To talk with you about your preview, requested changes, your purchase and, if you choose it, your Care Plan.
• To set up your domain and publish your website if you buy it.
• To keep our site secure and working properly.

Your phone number is optional and is only used to contact you about your website preview. We will not add you to a marketing list or share your details with other businesses for their marketing.

Services that help us run QwikSite

We rely on a few trusted providers. They only receive what they need to do their job:

• Cloudflare hosts our website and processes form submissions and site traffic.
• Discord is where your form submission, including uploaded files, is delivered to us in a private channel.
• Stripe processes payments. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are never seen or stored by us.
• Domain registries: when you use the domain search, the name you type is sent from your browser to the official public registries for .com, .net and .org (Verisign and Public Interest Registry) to check availability.
• Google Fonts provides the fonts on our site, so your browser requests them from Google's servers.

We may also use analytics or advertising tools, such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to understand how people find us and whether our ads work. These tools receive information about your visit (for example, that you viewed a page or submitted the form), not the contents of your form.

Your website content

The text, logo and photos you send are used only to build and maintain your website. By uploading them, you confirm you have the right to use them. Preview links are private, are not listed on our site, and are hidden from search engines.

Cookies

Our website does not use cookies for tracking on its own. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from bots and abuse. If we add advertising tools like the Meta Pixel, they may use cookies to measure ad performance.

How long we keep information

We keep your inquiry and files for as long as we need them to create your preview, provide your website and any Care Plan, and keep basic business records. If you don't move forward, you can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email us at lance@qwiksiteai.com and we'll respond promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we'll honor them.

Security

Our site is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to your information to what's needed to build your website. No method of sending or storing data is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.

Children

QwikSite is a service for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted here.
